Dear John B. Sliney Families,
We are in Week #6 of the BPS Flex Learning Plan! I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your on-going support and collaboration during these challenging times. Since we began the BPS Flex Learning, students and teachers/staff have had to approach teaching and learning in a different way. However, our primary goal continues to remain the same which is: to provide all of our students with continued educational opportunities that meet students’ diverse learning needs to the greatest extent possible.
This is Teacher Appreciation Week!!! Never before have teachers and parents had to partner in each child’s education like we have to do now. It is in the spirit of this partnership that we celebrate our teachers and the parents and guardians of our students with a huge shout out and a genuine voice of affirmation that we appreciate how challenging this journey has been for all impacted by the current state of affairs. We thank you ALL for the work you have done to support continued student learning.
Thank you to all the families who have provided feedback on the BPS Flex Learning Parent Survey. Your input is invaluable and we will use this information to adjust and inform our current practice and how we provide students with continued educational opportunities. The Parent Survey will close on Tuesday, May 5th. Please click on the link to share your feedback:
