Raeanne Reynolds
Francis Walsh Intermediate School Principal

Raeanne joined Branford Public Schools as the Mary T. Murphy principal in January 2014 and was appointed as the principal of Walsh Intermediate School in 2017.  Raeanne is a graduate of Southern Connecticut State University.  She holds a B.S and M.A. in early childhood education, and a sixth-year degree in curriculum/staff development.  She is certified in early childhood education, remedial reading and language arts, and intermediate administration and supervision.  Mrs. Reynolds has been in education for over 28 years.  She has had a variety of experiences including being a K-6 classroom teacher, a social development facilitator, literacy coach, instructional manager, and principal in the New Haven Public Schools.  Mrs. Reynolds keeps the child in the center of all the decisions she makes.  She takes great pride in working collaboratively with the staff and district colleagues in order to create an academically challenging and welcoming school community.  She resides in New Haven with her husband Ryan, her two daughters Katie and Emma, and their dog Tina Rae.  She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Francis Walsh Intermediate School Assistant Principal

Pete joined the Branford School District in 1999.  He graduated from Hopkins School in 1992, where he served as vice-president of the student council and captained the baseball team.  Pete graduated from Providence College with a B.A. in history, then earned an M.S. in elementary education from the University of New Haven.  His administrative coursework was done at Southern Connecticut State University, where he graduated with a 6th year Degree in educational leadership.  Pete began his Branford Public Schools career as a paraprofessional at John B. Sliney School.  This experience impacted him so greatly that he decided to pursue a career in education.  Pete completed his internship and student teaching at Sliney, then taught for 14 years as a 5th-grade language arts teacher at Walsh Intermediate School before becoming the assistant principal overseeing the 7th and 8th grades.  Pete loves working with the students and parents of the Branford community and believes students grow best with nurturing and support.  Mr. Anaclerio lives in Branford with his wife and two boys. He can often be found starting projects at home and not finishing them to his wife's dismay.

Francis Walsh Intermediate School Assistant Principal

Doug joined the Branford Public Schools in 2012 when he was named assistant principal at Francis Walsh Intermediate School.  Over the course of his career, he has worked in five different districts and two states.  Doug grew up in Hamden and graduated from Hamden High School.  After moving to Washington, D.C. he taught science at Gunston Middle School in Arlington, VA.  He and his family returned to Connecticut, where he taught middle school in both Darien and Trumbull prior to becoming an assistant principal at Walsh, overseeing the 5th & 6th grades.  Doug earned his bachelor's degree from Fordham University and two post-graduate degrees from Southern Connecticut State University; he earned a master's degree in environmental science education and a sixth-year degree in educational leadership.  Doug currently holds certificates for biology, general science, and educational leadership.  He is a current member of the Connecticut Science Teachers Association, NSTA, and ASCD.  Doug believes that all members of the community help our children learn, grow, and develop.  It is our responsibility as educators to provide the children of Branford a safe environment that allows students to cultivate the skills they need to become lifelong learners.
