Dear Families and Staff:
Congratulations, and thank you for completing a historic and profoundly challenging school year. We are thankful to arrive at this point and look forward to the pandemic conditions improving over the summer. The progress toward a post-pandemic environment has been significant and because of it, we are optimistic that the impact of COVID-19 will continue to be less. As updates are released by CSDE and the CT DPH, the District will convey them to you.
With your support, we were able to attain our goal of keeping the safety of students and the staff as our top priority. You have done an incredible job adjusting to changes the pandemic precipitated, and with summer’s arrival, I hope everyone is able to rest. Life is starting to look and feel more normal!
We have planned a variety of summer programs, and we look forward to seeing the students who are participating in them in July. Throughout the summer there will be opportunities for stakeholder engagement/meaningful consultation ideas on how the American Recovery Program federal funding may be used by the school district. Your input is important to the District!
