Dear Parents and Guardians,

All BPS World Language students have a free account to Mango Languages to further enrich students’ learning of a second language. There are increasing amounts of research that support an approach to language teaching that focuses on communication. More practice in the target language builds proficiency.c Mango is a self-paced based program through conversation-based methodology that reinforces grammar, vocabulary, culture, and pronunciation, the four key elements of becoming a confident communicator. Mango offers more than 70 languages. 

Mango is available for World Language students entering grades 6-12 through free mobile apps for iOS and Android, or as a free desktop download through the Apple App store for Mac and through the Microsoft Windows Store for PCs.

To access your account, you should use the single sign-on through the Clever Login on your school’s website using your BPS email login credentials. You will only be able to access the full features of your free account by using your BPS email. To access your information through the app on your phone, you would use your same BPS sign-on credentials (school email and network password).

As a bonus, each authorized student account can add up to five free family accounts by clicking on your name in the upper right-hand corner of your Mango account and choosing “Family Profiles.” The benefit of adding family members to your profile means that you and your family all have the opportunity to learn or practice a new language together, which will further reinforce your language learning.
