Good morning! This is a reminder that today, Wednesday, January 27, 2020, is a remote learning day. We will be following the usual schedule.

All afterschool and evening activities for Branford Public Schools are canceled today, Tuesday, January 26, 2020. Please check the District website for updates.

REMINDER: On January 18, 2021, celebrate Dr. King's legacy by joining the Martin Luther King, Jr. Heritage Committee of Branford via Zoom to hear from guest speaker, Jane Elliott, known for the "Blue Eyes/Brown Eyes'' experiment. Proceeds benefit the Branford Food Pantry, Fuel Assistance programs, and more. See the News section for more information.

​The good news continues! All breakfasts and lunches continue to be free to all children 18 and under through the end of the 2021 school year. These are served both in the schools and through the takeout window at BHS Monday through Friday from 10AM-12PM.

This afternoon, the District experienced intermittent power outages lasting less than an hour. These outages disrupted internet service and limited access to remote learning for a short period. At this time, all power and internet service have been restored.

Kindergarten orientation for tonight, August 27, 2020 has been cancelled. Elementary principals will notify families of a rescheduled date.

Free meals are available at Branford High School to all children 18 and under. These include breakfast and hot lunch Monday - Friday from 10:30am-1:00pm, as well as breakfast packs distributed every Friday for the weekend.

Today is March 26, 2020. Please see the District's website for important information about the Branford Public Schools flex learning plan. BPS Flex Learning will be tested with all students tomorrow and will officially begin on Monday, March 30, 2020.

Thursday, 3-26-2020 the District will distribute Chromebooks or iPads to any Branford Public School student in Kindergarten through Grade 12 who did not yet receive one. Distribution will be through curbside pickup at Branford High School between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.
