Schedule the week of Monday, 12/4/23
On November 4th, some of our BHS BC2M (Bring Change to Mind) Club Members traveled to NYC to attend the Fall BC2M Summit. Attendees participated in meaningful breakout sessions where they collaborated with peers from CT and NY followed by an amazing activity fair that included yoga, aroma therapy, silent disco, advocacy bracelet making, slime making, and everyone's favorite, therapy dogs! The Keynote speaker was influencer, @AndrewMatarazzo. He shared his personal journey around mental health and, a thoughtful Q&A about his life experiences. Overall, The summit was a great learning experience and taught the members and advisors how to better spread awareness and reduce stigma around mental health.
Prevention Council of Branford Recognizes BHS Students’ ‘Be Vape Free in 2023’ Billboard Designs
This week three BHS students were recognized for their designs in a contest challenge to produce an original design or drawing to educate youth about the dangers of vaping, The top three selections were chosen by the committee.

Photos Needed for Yearbook - The BHS Yearbook collects submissions from students during the year, but you can help as well! We are currently collecting photos of students with their pets, pictures of students at work or volunteering, photos of siblings/relatives at BHS, and just fun times with BHS friends. We are also working on highlighting students who participate in interesting sports/activities outside of BHS. This could be dance, robotics, guitar, and or anything a student may be shining at! Help us highlight your child!
