PTA SPRING 2024 SAT PREP COURSE

Beginning Wednesday, February 7th for 6 sessions - 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm.

BHS PTA is sponsoring a Math & Verbal/Writing SAT Prep Course. Visit www.collegeboard.com to register for the exam.

Room Location: TBD

Please note: The class will be held in 6 consecutive sessions on Wednesdays.  The dates are as follows:  2/7, 2/14, 2/21, 2/28, 3/6, and 3/13. Students should bring pencils and a calculator to each class. This course will review the basic verbal/writing and math principles, and concentrate on the design for the SAT TEST and the appropriate test-taking strategies that can produce higher scores. Due to the time frame of the course, students must plan to do all the assignments as given, study carefully, and practice the strategies presented to them. Improvement in test scores is not guaranteed, but students will gain a sense of confidence by way of exposure to test-taking strategies and the skills necessary to complete the various sections of the SAT. Tuition for the SAT Prep Course is $190.00, which includes an SAT practice book. Notice of withdrawal must be given 1 week before the beginning of the first class to receive a refund. Last Day of Registration: February 1st

Photos Needed for Yearbook- The yearbook collects submissions from students during the year, but you can help as well!  We are currently collecting photos of students with their pets, pictures of students at work or volunteering, photos of siblings/relatives at BHS,  and just fun times with BHS friends. We are also working on highlighting students who participate in interesting sports/activities outside of BHS. This could be dance, robotics, guitar, and or anything a student may be shining at! Help us highlight your child!

Please feel free to send photos to clepre@branfordschools.org
