Attention Parents/Guardians of the Class of 2024!

BHS awards over 100 scholarships through the BHS Scholarship Program. Scholarships are based on a variety of criteria (for example, GPA, community service, future major, sports, outside interests, etc). Your child will receive an email with the BHS scholarship application form attached. Students must apply to qualify as a candidate.

This announcement is to inform you of this scholarship opportunity and to ask for your support in ensuring that your child completes the scholarship application. If your child did not receive an application, please have them visit the school counseling office for assistance.

ATTENTION GRADUATING SENIORS!

It’s that time of year to order your caps and gowns for graduation! Please fill out the form in the link below by no later than Monday, February 26, 2024. Graduation will be here before you know it! If you have any questions, please see Ms. Bozzuto for assistance.

Seal of Biliteracy

Branford High School will again offer students the opportunity to receive Connecticut’s Seal of Biliteracy for proficiency in a second language. Testing dates for 2024 will be April 16 and April 18.

Students in grades 11 and 12 who take world language courses and/or grades 10-12 students who speak a language/s other than English are eligible to earn the Seal of Biliteracy on their diplomas - PLEASE READ THE ATTACHED LETTER and complete the form linked to sign up for the test (by Feb 23).

Yearbooks cost: $100.00 (students experiencing difficulty making payments should contact Ms. Lepre for assistance.) To order by phone contact Jostens at 1.877.767.5217 during business hours.

In-School Sales Option - Students can also see Ms. Lepre to make arrangements/pay for a yearbook in school via cash or check for $100.00 All checks should be made payable to BHS Yearbook and given to Ms. Lepre in C27 Any Questions: clepre@branfordschools.org

Project Graduation Announcement

Your Help is Needed!

Project Graduation is a safe, substance-free, entertaining all-night event following graduation.

If we do not have the support and funding for this event, it will not happen this year. While the event is for seniors, underclassman families help participate in the planning. We encourage new BHS families to get involved and this is a perfect opportunity. If you are interested in helping please send an email to branfordprojgrad@gmail.com
